Shipping & Returns
Our boxes are specially designed to ensure the safety of our marble and shipped from Los Angeles, California. Each candle is inspected and photos are logged into our system for quality assurance before being dispatched. Domestic orders are sent via UPS Ground service and can take up to 5 additional business days for delivery from date of dispatch. International orders can sometimes take longer, depending on the destination.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
All candles are final sale. Should you wish to request an exchange, please contact us or email email@example.com within 7 days from receipt. Exchanges are accepted on products purchased from 1986home.com at the full retail value. Exchanges are valid only for products that have not been used, damaged or tampered with, and will not be accepted without original packaging.

Products which are defective or damaged upon delivery may take up to 3 business days to review with our dispatching department.
Refunds for products defective or damaged upon arrival are only available when an equivalent replacement is unavailable and the customer does not wish to exchange for another product of equal value. The damaged or defective product must be returned prior to the dispatch of the replacement. 1986 reserves the right to refuse repairs of products that have been tampered with or have been purchased over 12 months prior. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges on exchanges and any damage or loss that may occur while in transit.
We highly recommend trimming the wicks before or after every use to prevent any soot from collecting. Moving the candle around while the wax is hot in liquid form can cause the wax to dry unevenly. To clean the marble use rubbing alcohol with clean cloth.
